WOODFEST COUNTRY SHOW

Vintage Tea Room

Step back in time and experience our charming vintage tea room

Afternoon tea was originally introduced in England by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, in the year 1840.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."
Henry James

Step back in time and experience our charming vintage tea room.

Afternoon tea, that most quintessential of English customs, which was more of a social network.

So, forget Facebook, Twitter etc. and take time out to socialise and be refreshed.

Located in the Food Hall marquee, our vintage trestle tables and chairs have seating inside for 25 and plenty more seating and tables outside.

One of our dearest traditions and one which has been experiencing a long overdue return in this country is afternoon tea. Come, sit and relax in our surroundings and enjoy the ambience of a waitress service consisting of a range of homemade sandwiches, cakes and biscuits, along with a full range of teas and coffees including speciality varieties, all served in and on vintage bone china.

More an occasion than a hot drink.
