Vintage harvesting and Threshing vehicles - Location Outside Trade Stand
Flintshire Vintage & Classic Tractor Society is very pleased to have a stand at this year’s show once again and their display will illustrate Harvesting and Threshing of wheat crops from periods before and after the Second World War.
In addition, 2017 is a year of celebrating 100 years of Henry Ford’s Fordson Model MOM (Ministry of Munitions) /F tractor which Ford Motor Company started manufacturing in 1917 at its Detroit plant in the USA and consignments of this tractor was placed by the British Government of the time to import approximately 4,000 of these tractors to help the British Farmer grow and provide food for its nation.
At the time Henry Ford Co was the only company that had the resources to mass produce cars, lorries and tractors in huge numbers to satisfy the demands in America and the rest of the world.
Flintshire Vintage and Classic Tractor Society and its members have a wonderful selection of veteran, vintage and classic tractors to put on display to be seen by the public, and the society once again has selected some iconic models to be placed on this year’s stand which will illustrate the quality that its members have put together to take us back over the yesterday years in agricultural in North Wales.
